DOGWATCH SHOP-can you donate goods
Hi everyone. My daughter was at the Dogwatch shop, said they were in need of donated goods household goods, clothes etc. She said the shop was busy but they definately are in need of donations. I would be happy to take anything you would like to donate, as their shop is in New Brighton, it probably is a bit far for most. You could drop off to me, or I would be happy to pick up. It is for such a good cause, Dogwatch do an amazing job, and I am not sure what happens to stuff after we put it in the clothing bins. Thanks for your time, Jo
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
