We are holding a Public Protest outside 3a Rochdale St tomorrow (Saturday 22nd April) at 1 pm to voice our objection.
Why should you care - this ruling has set a precedence - any commercial operation can now get consent to set up a Satellite operation in any residential street in Christchurch. Fancy a takeaway shop, liquor outlet or a cafe to set up in your street - there are plently of zonned commerical areas available in Christchurch - why take over residential streets.
If you can't make it tomorrow send an email to your local councilor, MP, The Mayor and the planners at the Council to voice your opposition.

Fundraising for their cheerleading club's travel costs to get to Nationals. Meg & Macy did a Cupcake bake sale and had sold $160 worth of cupcakes.
A women came up & asked them how much they would charge to make 60 cupcakes for her nieces birthday and kept asking them lots of questions & distracting them. While she had them distracted stole their $160 and ran off laughing at them!
We want to Turn Around a Bad Experience Into a Great Result for Meg & Macy. As a Personal Style Consultant I'm like a Fairy Godmother for my clients and I want to be Meg and Macy's Fairy Godmother in this situation too and encourage Meg & Macy's Entrepreneurial Initiative. Households are being told to shop around for better power deals as some power companies lifted their prices in April. On the flip side, smaller companies like Electric Kiwi won't be raising power prices this year and are challenging the big power companies to do the same.
