Louisiana Iris, potted , in flower. SOLD Another listed.)

Joan from Masterton District

Louisiana irises just love wet feet. I have mine growing beside a stream and others sitting in dishes of water.
This iris is potted, and is in flower at the moment. The other rhizome has a flower bud on it ready to open soon and I'm not sure whether it is the same maroon colour or another colour. Surprise?

This iris is called 'Perfect Match'. Deep mauve with goldy centre radiating onto each petal. A large bloom the size of your hand.

Louisiana irises open out flat like a plate unlike the bearded irises which have a round form.

$14.50 with the pot.

Thanks for looking.
Pickup is in Kuripuni.

Price: $14.50

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
