Mental Health First Aid Workshop - June17/18 Carterton
Just 12 seats are left for the 2 day Mental Health First Aid evidence based course, Friday June 17th and Sat 18th, 9am- 4pm at the Carterton Events Centre.
Massey University Mental health nurse lecturer, Philip Ferris-Day, will deliver this 2-day Mental Health First Aid course which is designed to teach participants to recognise common mental health challenges, how to provide initial help to someone experiencing a mental health challenge using a practical, evidence-based action plan, and how to respond in a crisis situation. The total cost is $30pp (to cover the workbook) - and funding is available through Ka Pai Carterton if needed to support this.
