IRD Email Phishing Scam Alert

Susan from Cambridge

I received a suspicious email 'from IRD' yesterday. Looked real, on the IRD 'letterhead', grammar etc seemed sound but it wanted my current receiving account details to send money to. Their email address is NOT correct.
If you receive this email notify IRD IMMEDIATELY and delete this email! IRD will certainly never ask for this information! It is a scam! And a happy irony to this attempt, they have used a copy of the IRD's email 'stationery' with details of what to do in the case of a suspected fraud.
Have a good day and a safe Merry Christmas to all

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
