Vandals cause Waipuke Park closure
Council contractors arrived at their Waipuke Park worksite on Friday morning last week to find vandals had severely damaged their roller overnight. Stones were found in the engine, radiator and fuel tank of the roller left at the park entrance, where Splice Construction are sealing the road to the popular lake and playground area on Maungatautari Rd.
