The Government is seeking feedback on how to reduce death and injury in the workplace ahead of planned reform to health and safety regulations, some of which are up to 40 years old.

Lees-Galloway said the paper and consultation would focus on work involving machinery, equipment, tools and structures, which were involved in 76 per cent of workplace deaths, or about 58 fatalities every year.
