Matamata AA Driver Licensing Office
The owners of Waterson's Furniture & Carpet Court, where the AA Driver Licensing office is currently operating, would like to make it very clear to the Matamata Community that it was no choice of ours that the AA office is closing, this was a decision made by NZTA, and we were notified of their decision on May 7th. The article in the Chronicle has made it sound like Waterson's has not renewed their lease. The lease does not end until August, they have chosen to not renew and vacate as of closing on June 27th. We do hope they will reopen an office here in Matamata, and given the choice we would still have them here. Thank you.
