Commercial clutter.
Am I imagining things I have never seen so many commercial notifications. Even an electricity supplier (who can not yet supply me) promises a $300 annual savings after you paid a $260 annual membership fee. My spread sheet tells me in 1 minutes flat how good any offers are. All they have to supply is day and night Kwh rate and prompt payment discount rates and the truth is revealed. The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
