Way of Life Health Shops current status
We have been very busy at Way of Life as you all prepared for lockdown. Many people asked us if we would be staying open, as many of you consider us an essential business. Up until now, we haven't been able to give you a clear answer. We are NOT considered an essential business, as many of the products that we stock are available in supermarkets and pharmacies. Therefore as of today we are closed. If any patients under the care of our practitioners urgently require practitioner products or herbal medicines unavailable elsewhere, then you may contact us and we will organise phone payment and product pickup from outside the shop. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR URGENT SITUATIONS ONLY!
We thank you all for your custom and support in these very unusual times, and we ask you to stay safe and enjoy your enforced rest.
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
