Bergenias are a hardy ground cover plant. One of the most versatile perennials, with attractive leathery leaves and clusters of delicate flowers, carried on upright spikes in winter to early Spring. Incredibly hardy and a great plant for mass planting or edging in sun or semi-shade.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
