Sunday @ St Andrew's - UkuPella
UkuPella is a 20-something strong, adult female singing chorus from Waiuku. It performs all of their repertoire a capella, i.e. with no accompanying instruments. They make the whole sound through their blend of voices in three- or four-part harmony. Established in 2015, UkuPella is led by dedicated musical director Faye Meades.Their repertoire covers a mix of slower and more upbeat songs. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
