BPW Franklin International Candle lighting meeting
Date: 23rd June 2021 VISITORS ARE VERY WELCOME
Time: 6.15 for 6.45pm – generally over by 9.30pm
Venue: Pukekohe Cosmopolitan Club, Nelson St, Pukekohe.
Speaker: Christina Rogstad has a background in Business Development and Marketing and is an entrepreneur and innovator and will be speaking about her role as Franklin Development Broker. Very relevant to all residents of Franklin District
Cost: $30 Prepayment is required, contact bpwfranklinsec@gmail.com for account number and please mention if you require a special diet. Booking for the dinner meeting has to be in to the Secretary by 8pm on Sunday 20th June 2021.
CANDLE LIGHTING is when BPW Members around the globe come together to participate in a special tribute to the International Federation of Business and Professional Women, which unites women around the world.
BPW was founded more than 90 years ago by Dr. Lena Madesin Phillips from the United States of America and she conceived the idea of the Candle Lighting Ceremony.
Through the efforts and influence of Dr Lena Madesin Phillips, groups were organized in several countries and in 2021 there are now 25000 members around the world.
