Free ECE Level 4 Qualifications

Ganga from Pukekohe

I initially posted this message (www.neighbourly.co.nz...) under the category of 'free stuff' but I think that the category is meant for people giving away actual things, oops. Hopefully, it's okay to post this again as a noticeboard message so that neighbours can understand what exactly this is about.

We're launching a new programme entitled NZ Certificate in ECE and Care (Level 4), approved by NZQA recently, and will be applying a zero fees policy for the initial run so that those who are having difficulty getting into a course through the Fees Free scheme offered by TEC, can have an alternative option to get good qualifications for free. I'm happy to clarify doubts in the comments below or talk over the phone (021-02380889).

*Glad to see the response so far and it looks like we will fill up one class of 15 (our maximum class size) quite quickly. I will continue to work with those who are interested and see if I can open up a second class if the numbers hit 24 (i.e. 12 students x 2 classes).

Poll: 🤖 What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟

While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.

We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?
