Auckland’s become multi-cultural and I think if we take that onboard and learn from each other’s culture, pick out the best parts and make that our own culture."

It was a celebration of local businesses on Saturday night, as the Pukekohe Business Association held its Best in Business Awards black tie gala event at the Pukekohe Indian Association Hall.

420 people flocked to the occasion in their finery, enjoying a three-course meal from Flame Tree Kitchen as the winners in each category were named.

The big winner on the night was White Rose Cars who took out the coveted supreme award - alongside the professional services award.

If you went, what was your favourite part of the evening? Mine was the food! hehe.
