Great to see Franklin Local Board Grants in action. Whitford Playcentre used their grant to top up the bark in their playground, to meet national playground standards, and the kids love it!

We got new trees in the ground despite the rainy conditions and it was a great morning with the community.
Since launching my Million Trees programme in June, we have planted nearly 140,000 trees across Auckland - that's more than 1,400 a day!
Thanks to the Te Whau Pathway Trust, the Whau River Catchment Trust and the Whau and Henderson-Massey Local Boards for all their hard work.
