Poll: Are our Kiwi summer holidays helping us recharge, or holding the economy back? โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿฅ

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Thereโ€™s growing debate about whether New Zealandโ€™s extended Christmas break (and the slowdown that comes with it) affects productivity.

Tracy Watkins has weighed in ... now itโ€™s your turn. Whatโ€™s your take? ๐Ÿค”

Lights on Mistletoe

Trevor from Browns Bay

Looking for a local Xmas Lights display in Browns Bay? Come and check out 4 Mistletoe Place. We're at it again with a great display, walk through gardens, sweets for the kids, and of course the 'snow' machine.

So grateful again for the support from New World Browns Bay.

Its FREE. So come and admire from the road, then walk through the gardens and immerse yourself in all the lights. We're collecting for Child Cancer Foundation, so any donation is greatly appreciated.

Lights on at 7:50pm and turn off around 11. (Off at midnight in the final week of Xmas.)

Spread the word and we'll see you soon.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens arenโ€™t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days โ€” the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, whoโ€™s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
