Tammy from Tammy Gabriel Portrait Artist

//MURIWAI NEEDS US//

Many asked how they can help. We now have the answer.

Allely Estate & Wine Time in conjunction with Kumeu Rotary & Muriwai Community Association brings you the Muriwai Charity Lunch & Auction Fundraiser - Let's raise $150,000+ as a community at Allely Estate – Sunday 26 March 2023 from 12 to 4pm.

This event will include a buffet lunch, live music, and an auction. We will be collecting items for the auction over the coming weeks.

I am donating a custom commissioned portrait painting, please come along and bid!

Proceeds from the lunch, personalised wine from www.winetime.co.nz... and auction will be provided to Kumeu Rotary as the custodians of the funds earmarked for the Muriwai Community Association. We are proposing to raise over $150,000 for this event.

Tickets can be purchased here: www.allelyestate.co.nz... where you can also purchase a 6 pack of personalised bubbles from Wine Time, along with purchase your wine or bubbles in advance on the day.

We are asking the community to dig deep to help our fellow friends and neighbours of Muriwai. All donations for auction items to be sent to catherine@allelyestate.co.nz
We ask that donations are new items only and we will be providing publicity for those businesses who donate items from their business as they come in. We will also be setting up a silent auction as well as auction on the day.

If you cannot come to the event, you can purchase the 6 pack of bubbles which is in the same link as the ticket above and on this link - www.allelyestate.co.nz...

Let's help displaced families get future certainty.

Let's help local Muriwai businesses get back on their feet and let's restore Muriwai - a place of many happy days and memories for a lot of Aucklanders.

Let's not forget Muriwai. Arohanui x

P.S. Please share this event to your network and please jump on this amazing opportunity to be the difference we can be. Support should always start at home.

Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟

While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.

We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
