Stay well this holiday period
There are 10 days until Christmas!
The weather has been warming up and we need to start applying sunscreen regularly and correctly so we can enjoy some time in the sun.
Sunsmart tells us to apply a broad-spectrum, water resistent sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30+ at least 20 minutes before going out in the sun, and again 10- 20 minutes after being in the sun. Remember to apply the correct amount of sunscreen too. Find some good guidelines at www.sunsmart.org.nz....
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
