This Sunday (20th April) we are having a leisurely walk to the Upper Nihotupu Dam (off the Piha Road). We are starting at the laid back hour of 10.00 am. We will probably wander across the road to the decommissioned dam. Hopefully the weather has taken a turn for the better. For more information go to our website and look under Activities. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
