Friday Funny: 😄🐕My Dog lives like a king🐕😄

Fiona from Henderson

I Just Realized Something:

• My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day.
• He has his food prepared for him.
• His meals are provided at no cost to him.
• He visits the Vet once a year for his checkup and again during the year, if any medical needs arise. For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him.
• He lives in a nice neighbourhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep.
• If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.
• He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep.
• He receives these accommodations absolutely free.
• He is living like a king and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.
• All of his costs are picked up by others who earn a living.

I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks ~ MY DOG IS A POLITCIAN!!!

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

Poll: Should complete designs be shared with the public, or should the community help shape the designs from the start?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post recently shared an opinion piece on the Harbour Crossing and why a more democratic approach might be needed 🚗🚲👟

While most decisions sit within the political arena, many organisations—like NZTA—manage long-term projects that go beyond party lines. Politics can sometimes disrupt progress, and the next Harbour Crossing is a big decision that will affect all Aucklanders.

We’d love your thoughts: Should near-complete, shovel-ready designs be shared with the public, or should the community have a hand in shaping the designs from the start?
