Habitat for Humanity - Housing opportunities for our community
Habitat for Humanity is a registered housing charity and Community Housing Provider. They reached out to us to ask if we wouldn't mind helping them to tell folks the latest on one of their programmes which helps families get into their first homes through a rent-to-own model.
Habitat for Humanity is taking expressions of interest for new homes in Mangere, for move-in June 2024. They are holding an information evening for those interested in knowing more about how progressive home ownership works, eligibility criteria and how they can help you on your journey to owning your first home!
Where: Mangere Memorial Hall, 23 Domain Rd, Mangere Bridge
When: Tuesday 19th March from 7pm to 9pm.
Please follow the links below to either the event page on Facebook or to put forward an expression of interest on their website.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
