Major Roadworks on Lincoln Rd in the New Year
The section of road between #42 Lincoln Rd to Great North Road needs extensive repairs, so this will be done by Ventia and Auckland Transport.
Details are as follows:
➡️Where? 42 Lincoln Rd to the Great North Rd intersection
➡️When? 3 January 2024 – 21 January 2024
➡️Hours of work? Around the clock some days, and between 6:00am & 8:00 PM most days
➡️How long? Approx 3 Weeks (weather dependent)

First introduced in New Zealand in 1927 with the passing of the Summer Time Act, it's what we know as 'Daylight Saving' and this year it ends on the first Sunday in April.
While we do get to sleep in this time around, some people would like to scrap the clock tinkering for good.
