Kākano Pop Up Gallery now open in Henderson!
We’re popping up in Hendo over the summer!
From 3 November 2018 - 3 February 2019 we’ll be running a pop-up gallery in The Falls Restaurant car park, showcasing a selection of our artworks and merchandise - all available for purchase.
We’ll even be running some free participatory workshops over the summer period so you can hang out with us, create your own art works and learn some new art making techniques!

Also in this new community space will be The Bike Hub at Henderson, EcoMatters' second bike hub in West Auckland after its original hub in New Lynn, relocated to this new location from its previous site on Henderson Valley Road. The EcoMatters Bike Hub will be open so visitors can try novelty bikes and get free bike maps and bike advice.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
