Calling all local businesses
Henderson Bowling Club is a well-established community facility promoting health and well-being to our members and the wider community. We have an upcoming tournament and are seeking the support of like-minded local businesses. We have secured some sponsorship but would like to open this up to our local friends who might want to contribute in a small way. This need not be a large commitment, smaller items or vouchers that can be used as prizes would be perfect. In return we ensure all our members know who you are and that you support our Club. This is done on the day of the tournament with further acknowledgement via our Facebook page, Club website and monthly newsletter. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
