Hi Neighbours,
I've just finished a 12-month broadband contract(a whole year from yesterday) and switched to Spark today, then I was told by Vodafone that although I only used the network for 11 days(from the beginning of this month), I still have to pay the 90$ bill for the whole month, and that's the policy. I'm quite angry with it because that's really unfair. I know that most of you never read their policy in detail. So I hereby just remind you who are using Vodafone broadband to be aware of the unfair policy and watch your wallet.

Hi neighbours,

Is street parking an issue in your community? A new cycle lane on a North Shore street is confusing drivers, who are parking across driveways and making it hard for residents to enter or leave their garages. What a nightmare! Watch the video below, and click here to read more.

Police aren't aware of a spike in rental property break-ins on the North Shore, but suggest that landlords:
• Keep windows and doors locked
• Maintain a "lived-in" appearance on empty properties
• Keep trees and bushes tidy so burglars can't hide in them
• Use good quality locks and a reputable locksmith
• Install sensor lights
• Keep garden sheds and garages secure.
