Is taking your shoes off in someone's home the right and hygienic thing to do, or do you see being asked to remove your shoes as a total imposition?
It's one of many home dilemmas we come across on Homed, along with toilet paper over or under? cutlery up or down in the dishwasher? top sheet or no top sheet?, to name a few. Read more about the arguments for each and see how many people agree with you, here.

We can’t bear the idea of a bunch of great people in Forrest Hill staying behind their fences and not knowing each other.
Our dream is to create a garden in Seine Road reserve which will be a place to learn to grow organic food, and a place to get to know our neighbours. It will be a beautiful space, a learning space, a place to get stuck in, and a place to experience what community can really be.
As with many things in life, good things take time. We have been working with the council since 2018, and we were granted permission late 2019. There are a few more steps in the process but we are hoping to break ground at Seine Reserve, Forrest Hill, in spring or early summer.
There are plenty of ways you can participate in this project. You might be an avid gardener, just interested in learning more or you love getting stuck into a project. If that is you, we would love to have you involved. And if you know a local business who is keen to get behind us, please let them know to reach out.
You can find us on social media or visit our website to find out more. You might also want to sign up to our mailing list to get regular updates.

"As we move through the stages of lockdown, we've seen some interesting traffic trends on realestate.co.nz.
Traffic from offshore markets has risen steadily since we went into lockdown. The key markets these users were visiting from include Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom – countries where we have large expat communities.
We also surveyed our international site users to understand more about them, and why they're considering a move to New Zealand.
Take a look at the key insights below."
