We are a privately operated tuition facility for primary students at Sunnynook, and currently looking for experienced teachers or perspective teachers to provide quality learning for our students in Science. If you are passionate about teaching, have good time management skills, and understand New Zealand Curriculums well, we want to hear from you.
The planning for the class(es) will be provided by the employer, and experiments required every two classes.
We prefer, you have:
A) Experience working with primary school children and teaching of some kind.
B) A good sense of communication and patience.
C) Able to commit fixed working hours.
D) Able to work for at least 2 terms. (longer period is preferred if you are the right person!)
Working Hours: Tuesday or Thursday or Friday (3:30pm - 6:00pm)

He’s an active and inquisitive little boy and very smart. He already comes when called and sits. He is learning his toilet manners. Timmy has a really keen nose and absolutely rocks his eyebrows! I wondered why it was visible in the daytime, and also whether they need large old trees with holes for their nests.
Apparently they hunt mainly in the early night and early morning, and sometimes at dusk and dawn, particularly in bad weather. And they nest in any tree large enough to have hollows.
There are some excellent recordings and photos....including one in Hillcrest, and one in Mairangi Bay...at ebird.org...
