Women's Respect Group for Anger management

Gwendoline Cooney from North Harbour Living Without Violence

We would like to remind all of you out there that we run two respect groups for women who wish to deal with issues of anger or stress. Sometimes we just don't know how to communicate or deal with feelings of irritation or anger. You may find yourself yelling at your children or partner or unable to control impatience or anger outside the home. We get great feedback from women who attend the group programme. It is an open group all you need to do is call and arrange an assessment appt. We have sliding scale for costs and the assessment is free. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
