Depression Anxiety Recovery Program

Kim from Papakura

Many of us will experience depression and/or anxiety at least once over our lifetime – the Depression Anxiety Recovery Program (DARP) will give you some tools to help add colour back into your life… though DARP is much more than just that; it will also help you to optimise your brain – so this is for everyone!

Come along to an Information Session at the Church Hall, 12 Alpha Street, Papakura:

* Monday 22 March at 1.00 pm or 6.30 pm
* Monday 29 March at 1.00 pm or 6.30 pm

The program will run for 8-weeks, starting on Monday 12 April and each session is two hours, with a video from Dr Neil Nedley, the program creator; and a one hour facilitated session by our DARP trained volunteers – there will be two different times to choose from… either 12.30 pm or 6.30 pm.

To attend our 8-week sessions, you need to register at one of the Information Sessions. There is a amazing special deal on the DARP program at the moment – instead of $200.00, we are giving you a 50% off deal… so for just $100.00 you can change your life!

For more information, email hello@papakurasda.org.nz or come along to one of the Information Sessions.

Georgina's Rhubarb Crumble

Bruce McLaren Retirement Village

Craving a dessert that makes the most of spring's fresh produce? Look no further than Georgina's signature Rhubarb Crumble.

This delicious treat has become a favourite at Ryman’s Bert Sutcliffe Village, where the sweet and tangy aroma often wafts through the air, tempting neighbours in for a taste. It’s also a hit with Georgina's 13-year-old granddaughter, Brooklyn, who loves serving it warm with gooey custard or a scoop of melting vanilla ice cream.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
