😔Covid-19 fears cut cancer patient's 30 year GP career short😔

Fiona from Henderson

An incredible, heartwarming and heartbreaking, but totally honest life story from the wonderful GP, Liz Fitzmaurice posted on Stuff.
www.stuff.co.nz...

I love the moving and sometimes relatable feelings, thoughts and the real life emotions; but above all, the no-nonsense approach to today's health climate crisis - Covid.

Her calm, but well reasoned approach, is the exact calmness we all seem to have lost in this wild ocean of anger and despair currently happening in this mad Covid world, that we all really need right now. Thank you Liz🥰

My favourite quote from Liz, that is in this article reads:
"When people write of “personal freedom,” it seems to read like they are actually speaking of “personal privilege”.

She is fully in support of vaccine mandates to protect vulnerable people like her.

I wish her well and nothing but good, kind caring people to surround her during her time of need as well as happiness for the rest of her life, all that she deserves (and then some more).

💗💗BLESS YOU AND THANK YOU SO MUCH LIZ FITZMAURICE💗💗

Scam Alert: Bank cold calls

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.

🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.

Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.

If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
