Changes to AT HOP fares from Sunday 9 February
AT HOP fares will be changing on Sunday 9 February. Some bus and train fares will be increasing between 3 cents and 10 cents. Individual ferry AT HOP fares will increase between 5 cents and 10 cents, while there will be no changes to cash fares.
These fare changes are to keep pace with increasing costs and the portion of the cost that is recovered from fares. Around 50% of the cost of public transport is subsidised by Auckland Council and New Zealand Transport Agency.
