Use it or one day you'll lose it!
π€ΈββοΈ Its easy to take things for granted.
π€ΈββοΈ Let's take waking up in your bed and standing up for instance. Balancing upright, on two feet, without falling over.
For some this is a miracle.
π€ΈββοΈ In our daily lives, getting up to go to a job and driving to work seem ordinary that we take for granted.
π€ΈββοΈ It is only when we get bedridden, or too sick or injured and we lose our precious capabilities that we begin to realise how awesome it is to be simply moving.
π€ΈββοΈ This amazing gift of movement is worth using to it's full potential. Use it to try new things and get moving. Get off the couch and away from the tv as much as you can. Learn a sport or join the gym.
Express gratitude and look after your amazing body. It's worth more than anything you'll ever buy.

Some Choice News!
DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.
Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, weβre a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.
For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.
Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature β and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?
We hope this brings a smile!
π Riddle me this, legends! π
