Give blood at 65 Constellation Drive
Every single blood donation you give can save 3 lives. Blood is needed to help over 29,000 New Zealanders every year. Now there’s a new place you can go to donate blood and help people who need it. NZ Blood’s new donor centre at 65 Constellation Drive on Auckland’s North Shore. Doors open on 3 November.
Join us for opening celebrations on 7 November. Bring your friends, family or workmates to learn more about giving blood (you never know who you might run into). It’s a chance to see the good your donation can do.
Government targeted relief
My sister is a Pensioner living in Wellsford. She has an appointment at North Shore Hospital tomorrow afternoon at 2.45pm. The 160km round trip would cost about $50 which is too expensive. Instead, she will be taking a free shuttle leaving from Wellsford at 8am tomorrow, so will have almost 6 hours wait at hospital . It is not only families with children who are struggling. I do understand that not everyone can be accommodated in the relief, but just saying.
