Rotary Charity Book Fair -Vacant Floorspace Required for storing /sorting books
Rotary Kaipatiki is in urgent need of an open floor space of around 80 sq. m. from mid-July to 27th September to store and sort books collected for our Annual Charity Book Fair to be held at Northcote College. If anyone can assist with a vacant industrial, retail premises or open floorspace with easy access, to help us raise funds for the community, it will be appreciated. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
