As part of this, Little Shoal Bay has been added as a "hot spot" for council's compliance team to visit over Summer, and new signage has been … View moreLast week the Kaipātiki Local Board requested increased enforcement of freedom campers at Little Shoal Bay Reserve over the coming Summer. As part of this, Little Shoal Bay has been added as a "hot spot" for council's compliance team to visit over Summer, and new signage has been installed to alert campers that it is illegal to park-up overnight in the reserve.
The Local Board's request for the carpark chains to be locked overnight, or for new vehicle gates to be installed, is being processed.
