TRADEME COURIER COSTS
Lately when I have used Trademe's own couriers' quote, I have found that often the price they quote for the buyer to pay, has increased by several dollars even when the item is sold within a few days after being listed.
This unfair practise leaves the seller paying the extra costs.
An recent example . A family member sold a clothes drying rack for $15, and the courier, Aramex, charged an extra $4.50 over the quoted price. Where is this extra cost going I wonder? Petrol has gone down lately, not up.
I think Trademe need to do a bit of spot checking.

Tomorrow (16/2/2025) West Auckland District Tramping Club are having a walk in the Cascades, Falls Road, Waitakere. Here you will some magnificent stands of Kauri. This is about a 3/4 hour walk.
