Drop in to Te Manawa's Work Navigator where our friendly staff can help you with practical infomation to support you in your job search for work or a change in career. Whether it is finding info about training and development opportunities, discovering a new career path or help finding and applying for a job we are here for you.
We can help you with:
- Building your CV and writing a cover letter
- Submitting job applications including scanning and uploading documents
- Creating an online job seeker profile or online account
(e.g. Real Me, My MSD, Careers.govt.nz, SEEK, Trade Me etc.)
- Searching employment websites to find your next job
- Connecting you to skills development, education and training courses
We can provide access to:
- Computers for dedicated job searching
- Free Wifi
- Free printing of CVs and job applications
- Free online training courses and other resources to help build your confidence and skills

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
