⭕Can you draw a perfect cirlce?⭕

Fiona from Henderson

It seems like a geeky thing to say, but everyone in school probably secretly looked up to that one artsy student who could draw near-perfect circles with their pencil.

Some might have convinced themselves they’d be able to snap up the talent once they were grownups, but if adulting has taught you anything, skills don’t come naturally with age.
This game proves drawing a perfect circle is just as tricky as it was when you were a child.
This is a perfect game to wind down on a Friday while preparing for the weekend.
A warning though, it is addictive to try and beat your 'best score'😉
Have fun😉

Good evening one and all.
While out on my walkabouts I have found a few plants that I either have forgotten the name of don't know it. I have tried to find the exact names of the following plants using various apps to no avail, so I thought I would ask the very helpful & knowledgeable people out here in Neighbourly land.
The first post is a beautiful tree/bush I came across with what looks like two colours for flowers. I know that it was two plants right next to one another. The flowers are bell like, waxy and very pretty.
One red and one white - both with yellow centres

We want to say a huge thank you to the incredible OneSight team who have recently spent time at five Salvation Army centres around the country providing free eye tests and glasses to Kiwis who are unable to afford them.

624 people were seen over five days with nearly 70% needing glasses. Amazingly, 150 people attending the clinics were are able to leave with their new glasses which were manufactured on site!

OneSight Programme Manager for Australia/New Zealand Jenny Harnett says it was an honour to partner with The Salvation Army to deliver these clinics to communities in need. “We believe that glasses unlock potential, providing opportunities for students to learn, for people to work and earn a living, to drive, to read, and to support their families."

Thanks again OneSight!

Pet obesity a 'significant concern' as vet warns owners not to feed dogs human food

Danielle Clent Reporter from Western Leader

Hi neighbours, SPCA says obesity in pets has become a serious health problem. It is recommended that leftovers are not given to dogs without speaking to a vet first.
Do you know your dog's healthy weight? Do you feed it leftovers?
