Thieves hit St John supporters
The women from Highland Park Sewing Group are devastated.
Thieves broke into their storage shed during the weekend and spread faeces over the group's materials and containers.
The ladies, who meet at the Howick Ambulance station hall, donate all their profits to St John.
Culprits also stole suitcases and three Christmas hampers which the ladies put together out of their own money for a fundraising raffle for Howick Ambulance.
The teddies and quilt are all handmade.
