Hi Auckland,

How worried are you about coastal erosion in Auckland?

Auckland's shoreline could recede by 200m by 2130 if little to no action on climate change is taken.

The report, titled "Predicting Auckland's exposure to coastal instability and erosion", details the impacts this will have on communities the Auckland region.

Sea level rise is notoriously difficult for scientists to follow and this has meant coastal erosion rates have been difficult to predict.

New Zealand's sea levels have risen an average 1.67mm per year since 1989, but the Ministry of Environment says this will accelerate if little action is taken on climate change.

When New Zealand’s Alert Level 4 came into effect in March 2020, schools around the country faced the challenge of a transitioning from onsite to online learning.

As students adjusted to the shift in their educational environment, many schools were ill-prepared to move to quickly to online learning. Schools such as St Peter’s in Cambridge were readily prepared for a seamless transfer between classroom and digital learning.

With each student ready to use online platforms such as Google Classroom and Hangouts, a streamlined shift was enabled as soon as the lockdown occurred.

Find out why more families are choosing St Peter’s at our Open Day on 12 March.

Because they are the same profile you can use then all in one area just adjust the amount of base you use to take up the different thickness. If you need the full 11.6mSq then you can use the grey ones to make a path or dot them at random for interest. There is also a small stack if sand and some base course/rubble you can have too.
Located in Howick. Trailer available if necessary. May take more than 1 trip.

A few dollars for Hospice would be nice
