How are you celebrating Te Wiki o te reo Māori?
Kia ora neighbours. To further celebrate Te Wiki o te reo Māori (Māori Language Week), Te Reo Tuatahi will soon be holding basic te reo lessons in partnership with Glenfield Mall . The launch is September 14, from 6pm till 7pm outside Michael Hill, and will include a kapa haka performance by Glenfield College and feature talks by guest speakers about revitalising and normalising te reo Māori. The event promises to include the audience. Will you be heading along? How are you celebrating Te Wiki o te reo Māori? Put NFP in your post if it is not for publication.

Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!
Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
