Free Optimist Sailing Boat

Oliver from Devonport

We have used this boat for a season at Wakatere Sailing Club in Narrow Neck. We were loaned the boat through the club and the condition is we pass it on to another family who have a child wanting to learn to sail. However it is not owned by the club. It was donated to the community and is a boat to be passed on when your child has outgrown it. It is an old fibreglass boat with lots of character and is the perfect boat to learn to sail in or see if your child likes it before investing in one. We need it collected by the 31st August from Devonport. Will post a photo when I get a chance. Or message me to have a look at it.

💡 A Little Brain Buzz for You⚡

The Riddler from

I have two faces, but show you only one.
I once had guests, but now have none.
I’m rarely bloody and seldom blue.
I’m often promised and sometimes new

(Trev from Tamatea kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Trev!)

Got more greens than you know what to do with? 🥦🌱🥕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
