The festival begins on 20 June with the winter solstice and ends on 15 July as the Matariki stars rise. You can experience the sights, lights, sounds and learnings of te ao Māori (worldview) in new and different ways.

Gatherings will come closer to you; they’ll be smaller, pop-up and virtual; and the spectacle of Vector Lights for Matariki Festival will bring a striking new Matariki story to the Auckland Harbour Bridge.

MECOSS is pleased to announce the Manukau East Shopping Shuttle service will resume on Thursday 2nd July.
This service is available to all people who are unable to access their grocery shopping. On alternate weeks, trips are made to Botany Town Centre and Pakuranga Plaza.

MECOSS is pleased to announce the Manukau East Shopping Shuttle service will resume on Thursday 2nd July.
This service is available to all people who are unable to access their grocery shopping. On alternate weeks, trips are made to Botany Town Centre and Pakuranga Plaza.
Morning pick-up, 2 hours of shopping, returned home early afternoon.
$10 includes return trip & a cup of coffee or tea.
Book a 'Companion Shopper' or 'Mobility Equipment' if you require assistance.
To book, please call 0800 632 677
Passengers should be mobile enough to independently enter and exit shuttle-bus with minimal help. Unfortunately wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on the shuttle-bus.
Pick up areas include Pakuranga, Howick, Bucklands Beach Peninsula, and Dannemora.
Bookings must be made a minimum of 4 days in advance or on Monday of every week. Please leave a message if you receive an answering service.
