MEGANZ School of Visual Arts is back up and running this term after our experience with the lockdown. Our students are returning and we also have a few new students begin without us even advertising, which is cool!
If you or your son or daughter are interested in art, we specialize in drawing, painting, and sculpture and take students from the age of 9 through to adults.
The courses are a mix of tutor and student-initiated projects. Students can work on their own themes and ideas, at their own pace.
Also, college-age students can work on artboard work if they choose to.
So take a look at our website (www.vizart.co.nz) and send me a text or call me (Megan) and we can make a time to meet.
Cheers Megan

Te Tohu Toi Tangata - Bachelor of Humanities

Meet Christina Nuku who graduated with majors in Indigenous Studies and Policy. Through Awanuiārangi, Christina experienced a 3-month exchange programme at the University of Northern British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. She shares β€œthe exchange connected me with the Nisga’a people, First Nations tribal systems, communities and hauora programmes. It informed my studies and opened my mind. It was a genuine privilege to connect with the tangata whenua there, and an opportunity I would never otherwise have had”

β€œThe difference at Awanuiārangi is the whanaungatanga. Our kaiako cultivated a supportive and nurturing environment”. We are now taking enquiries for Semester 2.
