Fireworks
Cheers to my neighbours who let off fireworks last night and scared my 2 old cats out of their wits. They didn't have their dinner and I haven't seen them this morning and their breakfast hasn't been touched.
I'm glad you enjoyed yourselves (sarcasm intended) but you did that at my and my pet's expense. You may be nursing a hangover but that'll be gone by lunchtime. Let's hope my 16 year old cats are home by then too.
It was cold and very windy last night. Who in their right mind lets off fireworks in a high wind like that? I hope my two old girls found somewhere warm to hide. Before anyone suggests I should have locked them up they are semi-feral and can't be caught.
Time to ban the private use of these destructive and intrusive devices in my view.

I dance in the sky with green and gold, a spectacle few are lucky to behold; I’m best seen in the south, a celestial sight—what am I, lighting up the New Zealand night?
