Mangar Bathing Cushion
Google the above product. If you know anyone who loves to have a bath but because of age, injury or disability, can not get in and out of the bath without assistance, this is the answer. This inflatable, very strong cushion enables someone to sit on the cushion when inflated to the top of the bath and swing their legs over into the water. They then deflate it so they can lie in the bath. When they are ready to get out, the cushion is inflated again and when it reaches the top of the bath the user can get out easily by swinging their legs over the side of the bath. This can all be done by one person with the use of the automatic, small compressor, the size of a handbag. Perfect for anyone after an operation when their legs are affected. It was purchased from Active Healthcare NZ last year and is still under guarantee. Made in USA. Visit the Google site and you will see videos and reviews. It cost $1500 and I would like $200 for it. I am moving to an apartment which does not have a bath.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
