Hi neighbours, Auckland Museum is hosting a singles' night which it says is the antithesis of speed dating on March 10. So far the event has proven popular with women and LGBTQI people, but there is currently a shortage of straight men signed up.
However, the museum hopes the gender balance will improve with more publicity of the event during the next couple of weeks. Would you give the singles' night a go? What's your idea of a perfect first date?

We are a new support group for seniors. We meet once a month to share our experience and discuss our challenges & concerns.
With the growth of our ageing population, and more seniors living alone, this group would explore and advocate/address the social, emotional and physical needs of our seniors, and promote positive and healthy ageing.
We meet on the first Saturday afternoon of the month in Mt. Roskill. Our next meeting will be 7 Mar 2026.
