If you, or someone you know, loves cricket and want to help a club, this could be a great role!
The Mitre 10 Mega Albany East Coast Bays Cricket Men’s Premier Team require a scorer for the upcoming season.
Don’t worry if you’re inexperienced or have never tried scoring before as full training is available.
All scoring is done on the PlayHQ scoring app and the Club provides an iPad to enable the scoring.
The season starts on Saturday 22nd October (Labour Weekend) and runs through till Saturday 25th March.
The season comprises of 3 different competitions – a 2 day competition; a 1 Day competition and a T20 competition.
The T20 competition is played midweek (Wednesday’s) prior to Christmas with a double header round also being played on Sunday 11th December. There is a double header round on Sunday 9th January followed by semi-finals (should we make them) on Sunday 22nd January and the final on Sunday 5th February.
The 2 Day competition is played from 22nd October till the 26th November. It picks up again on the 11th February and runs through to the 25th March.
The 1 Day competition starts Saturday 3rd December and the last round is the 4th February followed by semi-finals (Sunday 19th February) and finals (Sunday 5th March) should we make them.
Games start at 11am and are scheduled to finish at 6.40pm. Midweek T20 games start at 5.30pm and are scheduled to finish at 8.20pm.
The Club does pay a fee per game and lunch is provided at all home games.
