What are you looking forward to at the traffic light system?

Josephine Franks Reporter from North Shore Times

Kia ora neighbours, the traffic lights are in sight and we'd love to know what you're most looking forward to once Aucklanders have more freedom. Maybe it's being reunited with family outside Auckland, going to the pub, or just being able to hang out inside a friend's house (and use their loo!). Police Response

Anton from Albany

My daughter was driving home from Papakura last 27 December on state highway 1 and suddenly a silver station wagon BMW changed lane and smashed the left hand side of my daughters car. The BMW fled without even stopping. My daughter was shaken and did not manage to get the rego of the fleeing vehicle. She rang 111 center and was informed that they can see my daughters car parked at the shoulder and just wait for a police officer to arrive. The police officer arrived and gathered information and was told to wait for their report.
It’s been almost a month now and we are still waiting for the report as it is needed by our insurance. We already made a follow up call the last two weeks and was told the officers will be informed of our call.
If we don’t get the rego of the fleeing vehicle our excess will be $850.
I was just wondering if such incident is treated seriously by our officers. How long will it take to review the footage given the time and location of the incident?
Please share your views on what to expect.
Thanks.

Wanting a new flat

Wendy from Castor Bay

Hello Everyone, our home we are flatting in, is to be sold so we are looking for a new home. I am female in my 50's and my flatmate is male in his 30's. We are both happy to continue flatting together so if you have 2 rooms available please let us know. If you can only help one of us, then that is fine and we are happy with that too. We are both considerate, clean, tidy, honest, reliable and pay on time. We are looking at around $220 per week inclusive of everything. If you are not able to help us then please ask around as you will be surprised who knows who etc. Thank you for your help in advance and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
